Membership Terms and Conditions

The following sets out the Terms and Conditions under which Membership of the International Taiji and Qigong Federation (ITQF) is offered.

In joining the ITQF you agree to respect and abide by the following Terms and Conditions of Membership.

MEMBERSHIP DEFINITIONS

The membership of the ITQF will be defined as and fall into four categories:

  1. Associate Members

 

  1. Are interested in following what the ITQF is doing, but do not want full membership at this stage
  2. Pay a reduced, annual membership fee to the ITQF that is defined as the Associate Membership fee
  3. Have no voting rights as defined in the ‘Constitution’ of the ITQF
  4. Can access certain facilities provided by the ITQF at a rate or price that attracts a partial discount or preferential treatment arising from being an associate member of the ITQF

 

  1. Full Member

 

  1. Pay an agreed, annual membership fee to the ITQF that is defined as the ‘Full’ membership fee
  2. Have voting rights as defined in the ‘Constitution’ of the ITQF
  3. Can access the ‘Full Member’ facilities provided by the ITQF at a rate or price that attracts a recognised membership discount or preferential treatment arising from being a member of the ITQF

 

  1. Instructor Member

 

  1. Have applied to become and been accepted as ITQF qualified instructors
  2. Pay an agreed, annual membership fee to the ITQF that is defined as the ‘Instructor’ membership fee
  3. Have member voting rights as defined in the ‘Constitution’ of the ITQF
  4. Can access the full membership facilities provided by the ITQF at a rate or price that attracts a recognised membership discount or preferential treatment arising from being a member of the ITQF
  5. Have Instructor accreditation status from the ITQF in accordance with its categorisation and criteria
  6. Have additional access to the Instructor Page providing Instructor / Club support beyond that required by a full member

Entitlement to Membership

The ITQF is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting integrity amongst persons engaged in the pursuit of sharing knowledge and expertise in Taiji and Qigong.

The ITQF embraces diversity and is open to anyone and aims to provide a safe and secure environment for members and non-members to enjoy.

The ITQF does not tolerate discriminatory, disrespectful or threatening behaviour of any type between or towards any individual or organisation engaged with the ITQF.

Should any individual or organisation feel that they have experienced adverse behaviour towards them, they are requested to contact a senior member of the ITQF.

After investigation, should any complaint made against an individual member or organisation be upheld, the ITQF reserve the right to cancel membership without any recompense.
